About Me!

Hi there!!

My name is Carsten Sensler and I worked for Deutsche Telekom some seven years. I started in the enterprise integration area, moved on to be a group enterprise architect followed by my current position as the Vice President “Technology, Architecture & Operation” in a newly founded strategic business area “Education”. In 2013 I decided to leave Deutsche Telekom and since 1st of January 2014 I am working as a freelancer and in my own company called ArtOfArc together with Andre Karalus. Our working area is the strategic management consulting in the digital transformation design body of knowledge.

I am now 37 years old, live in Dortmund and I have a wonderful wife and two little kids.

“Not possible is not an option!”

I am open minded and “not possible is not an option” is something, which does not fit into my mindset. From the beginning on in a situation of challenge, I am totally convinced, that there are always ways to overcome a challenge.

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the people to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.” – Antoine De Saint-Exupery

The second important aspect of my inner feeling is, that you can always cope easier with challenges in teams. Teamwork guided by a inspiring vision is key and essential for solving the challenges of today’s business.

To spread my ideas, my experience and also my know-how, I am a regular speaker at various IT conferences. I love to share my stuff with others; especially to discuss with a heterogeneous  group of experts my approach for the different challenges to improve myself and to support others.

“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” – Søren Kierkegaard

I love the method of reflection. After every important meeting, every decision, every public or non-public presentation, I love to reflect about me, my behavior and the reaction of others to improve myself. Continuously improving is the third key inner driver for new energy for me.

I hope you will get some ideas, insights, information and I would be happy, once you left a comment on my tiny little site.

Thank you!

All the best,
